Returns & Refunds

  1. We take the utmost care while packing your order. Our quality check and processing teams carefully inspect and dispatch every order.
    In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged, please email photos of the damaged product and outer box within 48 hours of delivery to sales@thejuneshop.com.
    Our support team will resolve the issue by offering a replacement or store credit.

  2. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 2 days of delivery.

    • Please clearly mention the items you wish to return.

    • In case of partial returns, hand over only the items being returned to the pickup agent.

    • Returned items must be packed securely. If damage occurs due to improper packaging from the customer’s end, our team will assess the situation before issuing a replacement or store credit.

    a. First Return Policy

    • For the first return request, no reverse pickup charge applies for orders up to ₹3000.

    • For orders above ₹3000, the return charge will be communicated by our agent at the time of return request.

    • We will arrange doorstep pickup, and once the product is collected, store credit will be issued for the returned items.

    • Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.

    • If there is a history of cancelled or doorstep-rejected orders, we reserve the right to deny a free return.

    b. Return Charges for Repeat Returns / Cancellations
    If there have been previous cancellations or returns, a nominal reverse pickup fee will be charged as below. Store credit will be issued after deducting applicable charges:

    • Orders up to ₹1000 → Pickup charge ₹100

    • Orders from ₹1001 to ₹2000 → Pickup charge ₹200

    • Orders above ₹2001 → Pickup charge ₹250 or 10% of order value (whichever is higher)

    Shipping charges paid at the time of placing the order are non-refundable.

  3. Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received. Please pack the shipment properly before handing it over to the courier agent.

  4. Please Note:
    Books and journal products delivered in a damaged condition are eligible for replacement or store credit, provided damage is reported within 48 hours of delivery with photo or video proof.

  5. We do provide customization for orders/products. Please note that customized orders are not eligible for replacement or refund.

  6. The June Shop processes 10,000+ orders per month, and cases of missing products or theft in transit are extremely rare.

    • If you feel the parcel has been tampered with, please do not accept the shipment.

    • Contact the Elan Journal support team via email or WhatsApp immediately.

    • If you have already accepted the parcel, please record a video before opening the box if damage or tampering is suspected.

  7. If you receive an SMS stating that your order has been delivered but you have not received the parcel, please contact sales@thejuneshop.com. Our team will assist you within 24 hours.

  8. The June Shop uses external shipping aggregators and is not liable for delivery delays.

    • Delivery timelines are approximate.

    • We provide the best possible support to ensure timely delivery.

    • For time-sensitive orders, please contact our customer support team before placing the order.

  9. Orders cannot be cancelled or altered after 12 hours of placing the order.

    • Once packed or shipped, the order cannot be cancelled and will be treated as a return in case of non-acceptance.

    • For COD orders, The June Shop reserves the right to deny future orders.

    • For prepaid orders, two-way shipping costs may be charged.

    • Refunds for cancelled prepaid orders will be issued as store credits only.

  10. Bulk Orders

    • Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available for bulk orders.

    • Bulk orders are non-returnable due to special pricing.

    • In case of damage, please record an unboxing video before opening and inform us within 4–6 hours of delivery.

    • Damaged items will be replaced, not refunded.

    • No express shipping is offered, and no extra charges are taken for faster delivery.

    • Bulk orders may incur forward shipping charges with no guaranteed delivery timeline.

    • Standard delivery is 2–7 days; orders exceeding 10 kg may take 10–15 days due to courier delays.

  11. All returns are processed within 10 days.

  12. Return requests must be approved before processing.

    • Requests must be submitted via email, text, or WhatsApp.

    • Approval may take up to 48 hours.

    • Face masks are non-returnable and non-refundable due to hygiene and safety reasons.

  13. Once returned items pass quality checks, store credit will be issued.

    • Store credits are valid for 12 months.

    • No minimum order value or usage restrictions apply.

  14. We aim to resolve all disputes amicably.
    In case unresolved, jurisdiction shall be Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

  15. For artisanal and handmade products (ceramics, vegan items, wooden products, macramé, etc.), slight variations in color, texture, or size may occur.
    These natural variations are not defects and add uniqueness to each product.
